Anne Hinton Pratt
MEET AUTHOR Anne Hinton Pratt
Anne Hinton Pratt is a composer and writer. After doing graduate work at BYU, she married her best friend, had five children in three different countries, (Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and Mexico), and now divides her time living in El Paso, Texas, and on their ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico. She has written articles for newspapers and magazines, and has composed hundreds of pieces of music throughout the years. She wrote a musical work called “Hijos de la Promesa,” which was performed at the Conference Center Theater in Salt Lake, Texas and throughout Mexico. She wrote eight songs for a musical called “Domestic Violence: the musical?” which had over 40 performances throughout the U.S. and Japan, 2008-2013. Her music has been licensed in U.S, China, and Europe. Anne loves traveling, and studying languages.
