Many years ago we visited a neighbor's home during the Christmas holidays. Their passion was collecting nativities from all over the world. It moved us so deeply and we felt the Spirit so strongly in their home, we decided then and there we would start collecting nativities in our own world travels. Come and enjoy a few of our nativities: From the Proctor home to yours, with love. Merry Christmas.

We can scarcely imagine the shock and sorrow of that fateful Thursday afternoon, June 27, 1844 (175 years ago today) when Joseph and Hyrum were killed by a ruthless mob. I have gathered some of my photographs and some of the accounts of those who were there or were in Nauvoo to try to piece those feelings together on this day of commemoration. Come and see.
For our people, only two other places compare in sacred significance to this place, namely Adam-ondi-Ahman and Jerusalem. Today I take you, in beautiful photographs, as if with the young boy Joseph, into the Sacred Grove. I encourage you to gather your spouse, your children or grandchildren, your roommate or some friends around the computer screen and read and discuss the captions one-by-one together.
Most will not have the opportunity to go to the Holy Land where the Savior wrought the Atonement. Come with us and see the very places and read the scriptures that bring this greatest act in history to light. Happy Easter!
"Why would you want to visit Auschwitz?" our friend asked us. We went because we couldn't help but go. We went to remember how prejudice explodes into hate and butchery. Come with us on this 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
It was indeed an evening in Rome never to forget. Seven of the senior leadership of the Church gathered to be with the youth of the new Rome Italy Temple district. President M. Russell Ballard spoke to the youth and gave them wise counsel. As you read the captions of this photo essay (and look upon the beautiful youth) you'll get the message he gave.
Clearly there is an excitement in the air, signifying that the Temple Dedication here in Rome is viewed as very important and significant by the Church. That feeling was poignant on the gray Sunday morning as people streamed to the temple grounds for the first dedication. Among them were Italian pioneers who had joined the Church when there were no other members in their town. Come join is in beautiful photographs and meeting amazing people in this signature photo essay.
There are only two places in Rome where you can see the depiction of the 12 Apostles in statue form--and one of those places is about to be dedicated. Don't miss this opportunity to see, through beautiful photographs, the impressive and amazing Rome Temple Visitors' Center.
The Rome Italy Temple is even more beautiful than we had imagined. We went there very early this morning, before the sunrise, to capture the colors, the angles and the feelings of this new, sacred place in Rome. Gaze upon these images and please read the captions as Meridian continues its Rome Temple coverage.
Here are quotes and invitations from all 17 Presidents of the Church in this Dispensation, inviting us to come to the House of the Lord. I have gathered some lesser-known quotes to lift and brighten your day. These beautiful images of the Houston Texas Temple were all taken on one glorious morning. I have also excerpted quotes from President Nelson's first press conference as the new prophet. Is there something in President Nelson's first message you missed? Come and See.
