Marilynne Todd Linford has a passion for history—the Reformation, Colonial America, the Restoration of the Church, and writing family histories. She knows those who write history make history because only those things that are recorded are remembered. She has been a docent in the Church History Museum for twenty years. She has written thirteen books and many chapters in anthologies and articles in magazines. Her most beautiful moments come when she is with any combination of family at home, playing word games or piano duets, visiting a Church or national historic site, walking on warm sandy beaches, hiking the red rock canyons of Southern Utah, or picnicking in Mill Creek Canyon near her home. As the oldest of eight, mother of eight, mother-in-law of seven, grandmother of twenty-eight, and great-grandmother of five, she has many opportunities to experience love and life. She says the best thing about her marriage is that she and Richard have read together nearly every day since they were married fifty-four years ago. She survived breast cancer twice in 1996 and 2015.
