Ok. This is a lovely depiction of true love. However, who chose the photo that accompanies this story? The woman described was younger than 60. The photo clearly depicts a woman much older than that.

Covid did not take my husband in August, but it did keep us apart for over two months before he came home in hospice. During that time, we were only able to speak with one another perhaps once a week. When he came home, it was only for a week before he left to his heavenly journey, but during that time he expressed his deep love for me and how glad he was to have me. As I sat next to him cradling him as he began his journey I made sure he heard me tell him how much I loved him, that it was okay to go we would be ok and we loved him. He did leave and I was so thankful I had found him, and that he knew it also. He watches over me I know along with our faithful dog we had to put to rest a month before his leaving. I have that love always and yes it was hard, but I committed for it for him as long as I could. Not sorry just thankful to the Lord.
