Alvin H. Andrew is a retired Engineer. He earned a BS from Brigham
Young University (BYU) in 1976, and an MS from BYU in 1980. As an
undergraduate Assistant for Dr. Robert Patch of BYU Religious
Education, he assisted in the development of the original Harmony of
the Gospels. Upon his return to BYU as a graduate engineering
student in 1978, he was invited to be an Instructor in the Ancient
Scripture Department, under the direction of Dr. Robert J. Matthews.
After Graduate School, he continued to volunteer as an Institute
Instructor in association with Institutes of Religion at the University
of New Mexico, Michigan State University, the Idaho Falls Campus for
Idaho State University, and briefly at Boise State University.
