The movie Unbroken cuts off an entire section of the book. After Louie Zamperini ‘s grit and determination saw him through the Olympics, 47 days adrift on a life raft and two years of unspeakable torture in Japanese POW camps, it wasn’t enough to see him through the rage that clawed at him when he got home. Anger made him a drunk and his life spiraled out of control until he found the only thing that could save him–forgiveness.
This short clip features Louie’s two children, Luke and Cynthia, as well as author Laura Hillenbrand talking about the power of forgiveness in his life.
