Become an Award-Winning Filmmaker in 24 Hours
OREM, Utah – The LDS Film Festival is launching its fourth annual 24-Hour Filmmaking Marathon on Friday, January 13. If you have always wanted to be a famous filmmaker but don’t have the attention span for long projects, here is your chance!
Get together with a group of friends and be part of this exhilarating competition, or do it alone and keep the fame and fortune for yourself.
Last year’s winner of the 24-hour filmmaking marathon, Tolerance, by Mark Hedengren, is an official selection for this year’s SLAMDANCE Film Festival. Mark won several awards with the film at festivals nationwide.
Tolerance was Mark’s first film! You can do it too! Become an award-winning filmmaker in only 24 hours!
No pre-registration is necessary. Just sign-up at 10.00 a.m., on Friday, January 13, at the Scera Center for the Arts in Orem, Utah (745 South State Street). You will receive a theme for a short film that you have to finish within 24 hours.
Finished films must be submitted no later than Saturday, January 14th, at 10:30 a.m. All films will be screened and judged at the fifth LDS Film Festival on Thursday, January 19, at 7.00 p.m.
