Though COVID made it more difficult for full-time missionaries to connect with potential investigators in traditional ways, it has opened up the possibility for sharing in new and different ways. This also opens up the opportunity for missionaries to draw upon the talents they had honed prior to their mission. Whether that be making amazing basketball shots, or freestyle dancing in the streets of New York City or sharing singing, guitar, or piano skills.
A recent addition to the flood of missionaries sharing their talents and testimonies on social media is singer/songwriter Elder Jay Phung. Originally assigned to labor in Thailand, he is now serving in San Diego and frequently shares his music on social media.
