President Russell M. Nelson shared a message through his social media accounts about healthy competition and respect as the Olympic Games began in Tokyo, Japan this past weekend. As related by the Church Newsroom, “President Nelson relates the spirit of competition to his professional work and how he cooperated with others while honoring one of the Savior’s greatest commandments to “love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:12). He invites us to eliminate contention and embrace Olympic ideals.”
