I'm pushing 80, and my body is doing me no favors. In the discomfort of my ill health, the news this morning (and almost any morning) is pushing me over the edge and making me wish I had been born in some other era of mortality. At my desk, the thought washed over me: "You knew this was going to happen (all this last days chaos), and now you get to see HOW it happens." I started to calm down, and then I scrolled down to see the image that accompanies this article. I've had six precious babies. I feel blessed and comforted. Thank you. (And this is just from the lede and the image.)
