Excellent article. I wish people would realize we have more than a two party choice. And I do not feel that in voting my conscience and voting for “the proper role of government “ that I am wasting my vote.

Remember the Jews and The Romans were on different sides of their political spectrum and both were terrible and were punished. Nephites and Lamanites left the Lord and again the religious side was wiped out. WE ARE ALMOST THERE!

There is obviously a wicked man on one side and a terribly worldly man on the other. One agenda is God-fearing and the other merciful and helpful in defense of good people. We seem to be unable to have it all. I will vote independently because my vote goes to neither of the corrupt sides of our current "System". Why can't LDS bring in their own candidate and system? Are we afraid to do so?

There's a political party that voted in 2012 to drop the word "God" from its party platform. It's the same one that always makes a candidate's religion a litmus test for a seat on the US Supreme Court. It is time for the adherents to that party to wake-up to the words of the Prophets in these latter-days.

Thank you. And thank God for prophets to lead and guide us if we have ears to hear.

Thank you for the quotes that take us back to the foundation and help clarify confusion. And thank you for the links to other Christian groups that are giving specific helps in condensing information.
