As a fledgling actress, Anne Hathaway was just happy to have a job in the first film. She's too big of a star now to be returning for this. Probably cheaper to hire an unknown.

I loved "The Other Side of Heaven" and I've read the second book. I hope I live long enough to see the second film.
I had a question for Elder Groberg about the first film: Did they actually dance like that at BYU in 1953?
