Thank you so much for what you do for us. Your teaching example, experience and knowledge that you apply so aptly has clarified gospel principles to me and given me an appreciation for this calling I have. This was an eye opener on prayer. Great lesson learned.

Thanks for a great reminder! I can't wait to use your example in a lesson on prayer!

Just this evening, a friend told about his experience early in marriage. He was voicing the prayer for himself and his wife, and during the prayer he heard a rustling and opened his eyes to see that his wife's eyes were wide open. After "amen," he asked her why she had her eyes open. She firmly replied, "the scriptures say we are to watch and pray!"

Mosiah 36:29 says ". . . being commanded of God to pray without ceasing, and to give thanks in all things." By taking these words to heart and praying throughout the day, prayer can be more of a conversation with our Father rather than an exhausted report at night.

Ted, great article. Why do we always slip back into standard prayers? I guess it is just easier. Praying actually takes effort or it is just the same old thing. Thanks for reminding me to put more effort into my prayers.

Hello brother Ted, I too need to improve my prayers, would you kindly share with me your findings in the Book of Mormon? Thank you.

Wow. A very talented teacher. Learning the material well enough and then being able to explain it in such an easy fashion. That is the sign of a great teacher! Thanks for sharing!
