I served my mission at Historic Winter Quarters in the Nebraska Omaha mission. During a special display of the art work of Liz Lemon Swindles work of Joseph and Emma, Gracia Jones came and had a special fireside to share her testimony. It was such a powerful experience. The spirit was overwhelming. Hearing your testimony of Emma’s words to you brought all of that back. Thank you for sharing that special experience. I have no pioneer ancestors because my family are converts but I feel a special connection to Joseph and Emma as they lead the restoration. Testifying of their experiences I always brings the most powerful spirit.

To my knowledge, the Community of Christ Church has never denounced the Book of Mormon or Joseph Smith. I checked their website, maybe you should as well.

I have always loved Emma. For years we had a picture of her hanging in our home. I am LDS and some of my friends wondered why we had her picture. I have always known that Emma is where I would like to be someday. My wife and I served a mission in Historic Kirtland. What a wonderful experience to be where she lived, loved and and had so many trials. I know Emma has been misjudged. She is truly a saint.
