The goal for a court hearing to to determine if law was broken, not to celebrate diversity.

Wow! Fascinating article. I am curious to see where Romney goes after this.

What a fascinating article. I am curious to see where Romney goes after this term.

Yes, there is room for all of us to disagree, but the truth is that there is nothing refreshing for Mitt Romney to try to impeach a former president.

Romney is the only reason I am still a republican. I salute someone who stands up for what is right. Our political system needs to change if members of congress will only vote along party lines instead of what is right and wrong.

I think that while Romney has every reason to disagree and voice his own opinions, he should not be able or ethically enabled to contradict himself year after year depending on which way the wind is blowing in the political arena. Its distasteful.

There is nothing refreshing for Mr. Romney to vote to convict a former president, to act against constitutional guidance and further more to align himself with house managers that stated that Mr. Trump had no first amendment protection and a long list of other unconstitutional maleficence. Mr. Romney had the right to vote against former president Trump but at what cost? Indeed there is nothing refreshing about his actions.

Romney is an embarrassment and I regret voting for him as president. Maybe his age is the reason he votes against Trump. He is a classic RINO.

Nothing refreshing about his article at all. Like Trump says, Romney needs to lash out at the Democrats which he has never done, rather than at the leader of the GOP which he belongs. It is very evident that Romney cannot get over his disdain for Trump and he has to vote against him each chance he can to show it. I agree with Lawrence, Romney is in the wrong party and needs to man up and change. I would have more respect for him doing that than pretending to be a Republican.

This article is not about whether one agrees or disagrees with either senator. It is that in this angry world, where people are canceled and denigrated, there is room for us to disagree. We have to stand by that freedom.

"Utah's Refreshing Message After Lee and Romney Vote Separate Ways" Nice spin job--but it's not refreshing when the two senators belong to the President's party. Unfortuately Mitt got his feelings hurt and ego bruised by Trump years ago and never got over it. We all thought Mitt had thicker skin. There is just no justification for him voting to convict the President: no evidence in the first trial and unconstitutional in the second. If Mitt wants to be "refreshing" we encourage him to try running as a Democrat in the next election.

"Blind conformity" doesn't justify being wrong. One senator voted correctly, and the other did not.
