As other commenters have said, resurrected beings have and can perform ordinances. I don't think you said it in your writing, but I'm sure resurrected beings have many assignments, and it benefits the living members of God's church to perform these ordinances on this earth for the dead. You have explained the benefits to us quite well.

My understanding is that resurrected beings would not be performing those ordinances for themselves; nor for others. These individuals would have already made those covenants. These saving ordinances are necessary earthly requirements/covenants to enter the Celestial Kingdom.

Rather than say "I don't know" and defer to the nature of ordinances, perhaps the easiest answer is: "YES". Remember that conferring either the Aaronic Priesthood or the Melchizedek Priesthood are ordinances and that a quick reflection of Church History will let one see that Joseph and Oliver were conferred and ordained to the Lesser Priesthood by none other than John the Baptist, who was resurrected because he had been beheaded, and the Greater Priesthood was conferred upon them by Peter, James and John, two of whom had died and one that had remained on the earth as a living person. The answer to that question is simple and clear. The explanation of the need for and efficacy of ordinances both now and in eternity is an entirely different topic. Thank you for your thoughts in that regard.

Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdry we’re ordained by resurrected beings. Also Adam and Eve obviously had be be ministered to by resurrected beings.

I am not sure I understand the question you are answering. Is it for the resurrected beings performing vicarious ordinances for others or are they performing them for themselves?

Little Children who die prior to the age of accountability are saved in the Celestial Kingdom. To be exalted in that kingdom, by the very nature of what exalted beings are and do, they must participate in an eternal marriage. Perhaps one of the purposes of the Millennium will be to make that ordinance available to those who want it.

Love your writing style! AND thought processes, thesis formation and citations. Definitely opened my curious mind with the perspectives you presented and provided me with food for thought!
