Hi Sister Proctor. I shared your post on the Worldwide Fast April 10 page and did not expect the surge of likes and reactions to it. Not that your post isn’t note-worthy, as it certainly is, but rather the fact that anyone bothered to read a post that had my name as the sharer. No-one reads my posts, not even family , but I’m so glad I shared your piece of journalism and many read and continue to read it. Thank you. Regards from Auckland, New Zealand.

Thanks a lot for all these moving and inspiring comments from all over the world! If not for the suffering and all the people who have already died, we could rejoice for having this opportunity to develop unity and love among people from different horizons! But really, God perfectly knew this would happen...Isn't it in the hardest trials that we can show who we really are? How marvellous and inspiring so many people do it so well! There's still hope in this world! Love from France

I had tears in my eyes as I read the comments from these people of various faiths. Surely if the entire world joins in this fast, the Lord will hear us and ease this pandemic.

It's amazing to me how mankind can turn from anger, aggression, and hurtful deeds to virtually throwing arms about each other's shoulders when disaster befalls us! It is a spiritual gift from our Lord to desire to comfort and sustain our brothers and sisters. "Who's on the Lord's side? Who? Now is the time to show!" And He can inspire us to turn evil into good through focusing on His love and our families.
