How do you answer the critics who claim that there were not horses at the Book of Mormon time?

It would be nice if you could write a book loaded with empirical witness. It would be well received.

I choose to believe. And this list is nice to hold on to as a confirmation of what I want to be true. It is always nice to hear positive things and not have to have a long laundry list of things that could challenge my faith. I wish others could just focus on the positive and ignore the challenges. Keep up the good work.

There is a lot of the New Testament in the Book of Mormon. Not just quotes, but very similar stories (conversion of Alma vis a vis conversion of Paul). How did so much post-resurrection NT end up in the book? Whole phrases and stories from Acts, Corinthians, Revelation etc? Answer: the book was written 400 years after Christ, by a 5th century christian called Mormon. Everyone (critics and apologists alike) seem not to notice that.

The number of people who witnessed the plates or the translation process is actually closer to two-dozen, including Emma Smith, Mary Whitmer and Joseph Knight Senior.

An excellent summary of many important internal and external evidences of the veracity of the Book of Mormon and its ancient origin and modern translation. As you conclude, this book IS the Lord's evidence of the Restoration--not to mention His great, sacrificial love for each one of us.
