Something bothers me - a little - about approaches like this. Have you ever heard someone, after reading a text from an author the person is “intrigued by,” change their way of speaking/writing to sound more like what they’ve just read? I’m sure those involved with the original publication of the Book of Mormon were changed by the experience. Do studies such as these take that into account? I’ve never heard it mentioned.
