In a small gathering at Temple Square on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the beloved, golden statue of the angel Moroni was finally returned to the top of the central east spire of the Salt Lake Temple. This historic House of the Lord has been undergoing major renovations since the beginning of 2020.
The return of the statue after its four-year absence is a significant milestone toward the completion of the Salt Lake Temple renovation project.
