this was so funny. he reminds me of my mother. they want to do everything by themselves and don't want to be seen as aged or elderly. they want to be seen as viable. I think its really good to be that way. my mother is stubborn as well but I have seen the other way. an elderly woman who doesn't do a thing for herself and wants to be seen as incapable of doing anything causing others to have to over work themselves to help her irregardless of the harm. I enjoyed this story. thank you
