We missed May 4 and Star Wars day, so we couldn’t just say, “May the 4th Be with You,” but we couldn’t pass up sharing this.

Where do you think George Lucas got his idea for the opening of Star Wars?  I’m sure there are several possibilities from 1950’s sci-fi films, but how about. . . BYU? I found the above footage from the opening of a BYU film “The Search for Truth” (1962).
