McKay Christensen is a Gospel Doctrine teacher in the Alpine Utah 2nd ward. He and his wife Jennifer are the parents of five children. In his professional career McKay has served as Managing Director of External Relations at BYU, management strategy instructor at the BYU Marriott School of Business, President of a large global consumer products company, and leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies. McKay has also served as an associate and adjunct professor at Xavier University and Idaho State University. McKay has an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in Organization and Adult Learning.
McKay is the author of several books including “Open Your Eyes” published by Harper Collins Christian Publishing. His research publication topics include leadership, career development and organization learning.
McKay has served as a seminary and institute teacher, bishop, high counselor, gospel doctrine teacher and in other church callings. He served a full-time mission in Sapporo, Japan.
