The word “gunman”, itself’, conjures up in the mind images similar to those of recent events. It implies malicious intent. A “man doing target practice” (in the story) is NOT the same as a “GUNMAN” (in the headline). I am becoming increasingly wary of headlines in the media, as they seek to sensationalize stories just to raise our heart rate and hopefully get more clicks. I expected better from Meridian Mag.
