@Beth Kearl - I don't see an answer, but as a woman and mother I can tell you that you don't need to worry. Bro. Gibbons is not saying that we are never given instructions from the teacher. Read up on the early history of the Relief Society. It was formed under the priesthood organization. And if you have listened to the Brethren, they have been very clear that when women have "power" it is priesthood power. I am an ordinance worker in the St. George temple. I am given authority to administer the ordinances to other women. Heavenly Father and our Savior love each one of us and we receive all the instruction we need directly from them, if we are listening. I had much guidance in raising our 2 sons. So, please don't worry - you can get direct instruction from the Teacher, if you want it and are working to receive it.

When you say that it will always come through the priesthood organization, are you implying that women and mothers will never be given instructions from the teacher?

I like the way you write, using the terms such a teacher, teacher's aids and the testing center. Those terms makes your articles more understandable and interesting.
