As the Mom of a lost child - 40 years old, addicted to alcohol rejected all that was good in his life many years ago- he lives on my porch... I fight every day for his salvation. He is not lost to me and I know he is not lost to his Savior... I will drag him all the way ( whether he likes it or not) towards the day when he can choose happiness again. Love this article. Thank you

When I first thought of how she was going to relate this to the Gospel, thought it would have to do with finding names for Temple work. Either way, both are powerful messages. As is a third metaphor-- all of our own personal families, who may be missing some members to apostasy, rebellion, wrong choices or other hard life circumstances. "All the children have been found" Found literally, or in any other way--thats such a great line. Thanks to the author for sharing.

Wow! What a message! I wept as I read this, thinking both of the "lost children" in my own family and of those throughout the world. I want to be part of the "search party" now and for the rest of my life. I want Him to be able to count on me to "respond to the first prompting" and reach out in love and friendship to those who have either not yet found the tent or have wandered away from it and need helpe returning! Come to think of it, this applies to those who've died without the Gospel, too. So much work to do!
