I went to Angela's fireside in San Jose CA a few years ago. Her story is a testament that as we put our lives in the hands of the Lord, amazing things can be wrought.
Every Morning.....August 2, 2016
Great writing and photographs Mariah. I'm stunned with the spirit I feel in each photograph. But the amazing thing is how much more powerful they are when you stand next to them in that space! I go to Ashton Gardens every morning and when I'm among the depictions of Jesus, I never want to leave. I do feel immersed just like you said.

My gosh, Angela's work is beautiful! She must be one of our great fine art sculptors in the Church. Just stunning.

Not about shopping . . .August 1, 2016
Oh, how I love her response, "What else are we supposed to do? Shop?" No! She's got it right--we're supposed to lose ourselves in sharing the gospel and being a light to the world! I have a friend who recently was house hunting in Utah, and every realtor pointed out how close to shopping certain houses were. She kept telling them she didn't care about shopping, but about neighborhoods and families and schools. They couldn't fathom that. They thought every Mormon woman was all about shopping. Sis. Johnson demonstrates that we can be about much, much more.

Thank you Mariah for your beautiful description of Angela Johnson's journey and almost unbelievable talent that will bless countless people. She truly has been touched by the finger of our Father in Heaven.
