Thank you for your advice. I have always use silver pans, never thought about using the dark pans. My mother and grandmother always had the dark pans....grandmother and mother always had wonderful food also. I was pulled into the kitchen to help and watch....it never dawned on me that the dark pans were the answer. I will be buying dark pans today! Thanks again for the advice. Carmen
