Dear Maria, Years ago when I loaned you a gypsy costume for Halloween, I saw the spark of the dramatic in you. I am so happy you are getting a chance to follow your dreams and use your talents. At the same time, your down-to-earth understanding of what REALLY matters in life is both refreshing and well-stated. May your knowledge of what really matters and your constant prayers keep you grounded in a profession designed to be disorienting. (I can speak this way because theatre is my game. I am an acting coach.) May you stay anchored through prayer and fasting, and be a beacon to others. God Bless and many thanks for this lovely article. I loved this introspection and your candid descriptions of facing dreams and fears. I had all those feelings before I came here. It's nice to remember "The distant scene" is best taken, "one step enough for me."
