Joyful Notes is a Latter-day Saint children’s choir out of Layton and Midvale, Utah who recently put their a cappella rendition of this Irish blessing on YouTube as a perfectly poignant missionary farewell song.
Here are the words:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

The missionary farewell can be painful and many mothers have lots of other blessings they hope for their young, departing missionaries.
