On Monday, viewers who tuned into Dr. Phil might have been surprised when they received a rundown of a few gospel principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

An estranged father and son appeared on Dr. Phil on October 22, and during the accusations and contention that arose during the show, Dr. Phil invited Latter-day Saint and relationship expert Troy Dunn on the show to provide advice.

Along with his advice, Dunn shared “a few principles [of] The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” to help this family.
