The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reports its president, Thomas S. Monson, was released from the hospital Wednesday evening and “plan[ed] to resume his normal schedule and duties [Thursday].”
Monson was admitted to a local hospital April 3, after speaking at the semi-annual General Conference in Salt Lake City. Monson missed two of the weekend sessions, and the women’s session the week earlier, but did speak briefly Saturday night and Sunday morning. He spoke on charity, love and kindness.
