Olympic athletes may be long gone from Tokyo, but the Paralympic athletes are just getting started. These athletes from around the globe are getting ready to compete in the dream of a lifetime over the coming weeks, and among them are a handful of Latter-day Saints. Here’s a list of who’s competing at the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Lisa Adams | Shot put | New Zealand

Stats: Adams has cerebral palsy and is coached by her sister, Olympian Valerie Adams, who just took home a bronze medal in the shot put just a couple weeks ago. Lisa started throwing just three years ago and has set world records in her event.

Watch: The women’s F37 (for coordination impairments) shot put finals will take place on August 28.
