I don't agree with your article. I am 81 years old and have had lots of time to experiment. Flu shots caused me to have symptoms of flu, sometime getting quite sick. About 40 years ago I found that if I take 400mg or more of vitamin C everyday I never get the flu even if I am around people with it. Of course I avoid those with flu if possible. I am not saying that will work for everyone. We all need to see what works for us. I am married to a doctor and I also worked in the medical field when I was younger. I have two University degrees, so I'm not uneducated. If I work outside where there are a lot of weeds around I really get red and my nose runs and someone will say I have a terrible sun burn. All I have to do is take a shower and wash my hair and put on clean clothes and I'm fine again.

I would caution regarding the blanket statement regarding flu shots. Too much science to the contrary on that issue to arbitrarily recommend the shots.
