Well, I have no problems eating a good strawberry, apple, cherry or lemon meringue pie. Mom was an excellent pie maker but always taught us moderation in all things. With five boys and a girl we were lucky to get a slice of that fantastic treat!

As Latter-Day Saints I have become observant of how much we have made sweets and treats our God. These articles sitting next to Jane Birch's articles on the word of wisdom seem incongruent. I'm trying to clean up my act and ban sweets and treats and all there other bad ingredients. Better than pie and easier is a fresh washed strawberry dipped in a pure sour cream and then dipped in some organic cane brown sugar. That's as bad as I can go. Sorry
