Thank you so much for your much needed reassurance that plural marriage is NOT required for exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom. Elder Bruce R. McConkie clearly stated this fact in Mormon Doctrine, emphasizing that the Nephites did not practice this principle. I do not believe that any man can even begin to understand the pain and fear that women in the church experience, who have been mislead to believe they will be denied exaltation unless they live this principle. The very thought of being forced to live in this kind of relationship is devastating to a woman's heart and soul, in ways that a man could never comprehend.
