This isn't a silly law it is a dangerous and atrocious law. Yes, I am a Californian and, Maryann, I do not deserve this destructive law and rule making by Jerry Brown. I did not vote for him, in fact I campaigned against him.

@Bill. That's right. Isn't parody fun?

Revised: Is this open season for lechery or what? And, what normal, healthy, over-hormoned, curious teenage boy with his iPhone camera at the ready in California is not today high fiving every other one on his way to the principal's office to confess his dual personality?

Can't believe California actually elected Brown twice. They deserve what they get!

Unbelievable! The kids themselves have to be laughing at this one. The state I once loved has been ruined by a bunch of back patting goofballs. Liberal California Lemmings bent on a collective suicide. So very sad to see.

Of course it happened in California--where else? Nothing really surprises me anymore: sick, isn't it?

The correct quote is "I wish they all could be California girls."

So, if I was a teenage boy in high school all I have to do is declare my deeply held notion that I am really a girl and the I get to shower with the girls. But really, what teenage boy would think like that???

Has everyone lost their mind in sunny California? This mindless moral engineering must stop. Thank you for having the nerve to make such a politically incorrect statement!

You need to get out into the real world more often. If you did, then you would see that this is a current issue facing many public agencies as well as schools.

To prevent bullying? Seems to me that California is allowing a small percentage to bully the masses.

I went to high school with some guys that would say they felt like identified as a girl just to walk in their locker room and even be on the girl's sports team because they liked to thumb their nose at the rules. Their entire adolescence was about seeing how far they could push things without getting in trouble. They were like lawyers looking for loop holes in every rule and looking for chinks in the armor of the faculty and teachers. They would exploit this new law for everything they could.

I can't imagine how badly the courts are about to be jammed up with people fighting over this one. Jerry Brown answers the question, how liberal can a politician get?
