When I read your statement "It is easier to be. . . ," I was reminded of something I read that said that when we try not to give in to our addictions, our body produces the same endorphin chemicals as it does when we give in, because trying not to do something keeps the focus on what we're trying not to do. We need to focus our attention on the things we should be doing, which gives positive attention rather than negative. Wonderful article. Thank you!
