Our Great Grandfather heard the Elders singing this hymn in the 1850s when it was used exclusively in England - being a lover of music, and in fact affiliated with the founder of the Salvation Army, he paused to further appreciate 'The Morning Breaks' and became the first convert in our over 1000 member family!

Our youngest son is excitedly waiting on his mission call now. He has told us he has felt very anxious to go, that the Lord has repeatedly told him not to delay his mission even though he is giving up a full scholarship in order to leave now. And I know of several other of his friends here who have felt the same promptings. The Lord is accelerating His work, and these youth have felt it for some time even before Pres Monson's announcement in general conference. Our generation is only just now understanding the urgency our sons and daughters have been feeling.
