To see the truth of this article, go to the Internet and look at sites about : "Stars of the ____s---where are they now?" You will find pictures of people thought beautiful, handsome, sexy, several years ago---and they look like ordinary people now, growing older, just like us. Thanks for this--hope it helps those who need it.

All I would add is that men, too, are obsessed with self-image (physical beauty) as much as women appear to be. Please be aware brethren that all these points apply as much to you as it does to we sisters.

Aging has been a blessing to me. My own mother got old at a young age. She spent 20 years completely bedridden and died at the age of 60 of a massive heart attack. She never got to be my age. Any time I am tempted to moan about my body, I can hear her saying to me, "Did you get out of bed on your own? You are having a good day." As far as looks, I have noticed that the most beautiful women are serving in the temple with lights in their eyes that shine from the soul. Smiling is a free, instant and painless face lift. Letting go of competing with others for the Fairest of Them All is such a relief! All young women are more beautiful than they realize, and the love of God makes all of us, at every age, so beautiful! I wish I'd known this sooner!
