I was listening to a debate on the subject of how one can determine what is morally correct. One participant was religious, and took the position that reliance on the Bible is necessary. The other, an atheist, argued that morals can be arrived at through reason. The religious man asked how the atheist could possibly find his way through the myriad ideas, bad and good, that arise from the intellect, and choose the best. The atheist's response was that he personally relied on the still, small voice.
