Twenty-three years ago, the Church issued a proclamation to the world about the family, that took its full meaning in the two decades that followed, as the numbers of divorces sky-rocketed, and governments around the world authorized marriage for same-sex people, along with help in the procreation for such couples. Today, we are dealing with technical progress at such a record pace, that asking for the computer to be located in the living room no longer makes much sense, as our members and youth own smart-phones with access to high-speed Internet wherever they may be. The spirit of prophecy is thus what will save the Latter-Day Saint community from other dangers to their families that will hit us before we anticipate them, and at an increasing pace. Let us therefore look forward to carefully listening to the revelations our Leaders will receive on the occasion of the upcoming General Conference.

Love, love, love your message - and I wholeheartedly agree!! We are of the same mind all the way around. In fact, this was the topic of several of my research papers @ BYU-I. I am in CA so I will miss your speaking on the 13th of Sept in UT (bummer). Would you be willing to record it and make it available for those who want to hear more?? Many thanks, Kim L in CA
