We actually have a fourth version - the one in the temple. I have a deep appreciation for all of them, but the temple version makes the most logical sense to me.

For the writers of the Old Testament, in addition to copies of the Book of Moses and the Book of Abraham there may have been various remnant copies of the records of Noah, as he surely would have had a copy of the Book of Remembrance, written by Adam and his righteous descendants.
