I stopped eating meat 7 years ago because of a love of animals, and then stopped all dairy, and eggs not from my backyard hens. I have lost weight, feel better, and have more energy. The WoW says to eat meat in time of cold or famine and we haven't had that in CA so I see no need for it. I have no cravings for it either, and since we eat fresh and home cooked our sugar intake is way down too. Doesn't work for everyone but it does in our household.
