The Lord told us in D.C. 89:11 "Every herb in the season thereof, and every fruit in the season thereof; all these to be used with prudence and thanksgiving. Since seasonal fruits come already wrapped in their own special fiber, as long as we use them with prudence and thanksgiving, I don't think we need to worry. It's the added sugars (hundreds of teaspoons a month) that we get from processed foods that we need to avoid, and where we need to be cautious. The Lord made EVERY fruit and herb (veggies) [in the season thereof,] just for us, for our bodies, and they can't be beat for health-giving nourishment and superb enjoyment.I just love summer and autumn!
