Great Article. Thank you. I also agree with G. Johnson’s comments about schools and our children. In the early 90s I had to put my foot down (so to speak) on school teachings for my daughter. I told the school to accept my daughter’s decision to leave the class when sex education was taught. I felt is was my responsibility to do so. I even refused to send her to school with a calculator. Thankfully my daughter supported my concerns, as young as she was then. Today she is grateful for our choices and is raising her children with the same awareness. We see shoppers in the grocery stores with calculators when rounding up to the nearest dollar and mental tallying would suffice. Without a cash register or calculator or exact payment at fruit stands or such places, the money collector is stressed in making change. I appreciate our learnings and standards of the past. Learn from the past and, with the Lord’s guidance, we can live in the present and face the future.

I agree with A.BINGHAM's comment but would like to add that we must be equally vigilant regarding what is taught to our children in their schools. This lies basic to the radical/progressive agendas of the Left. Some would call it indoctrination of our youth when programs and subjects are openly taught in schools that should remain the province of only parents and guardians of our children. Legally, our "children" remain as such until their legal age of majority and under our care. Of note also, is that school boards are often the seed-bed of future politicians who utilize their board seats to launch careers in politics from which they continue to foment an agenda contrary to our God-given and Constitutional rights.

I mostly agree with the contents of this article. Problematic are those well-sourced pieces of information that are truthful and disturbing - not edifying but awaken us to the reality of our situation. Life is not always edifying, nor are events of the day that are troubling or meant to deceive. It is also our duty to face sometimes well-sourced and troubling truths and share information that impacts our lives even though it may not be edifying. I cite an example of the prevalence of child/sex trafficking in our communities and the awareness that all people should have of these practices in order to protect our children and communities.
