I read through this article an really enjoyed the information. I belive i had a prayer answered so i wondered why the others were not an its this that triggered the chain of thoughts that maybe i prayed amiss. reserch has brought me to this article. The last few lines is what really confirmed that its the Holy Sprit leadin me. i am praying differently now.. thanks for your help

Excellent article. Here are a few more helpful references on this subject: James 4:3 - "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss [Greek: wickedly, wrongly], that ye may consume it upon your lusts" [i.e., feed your lusts, your desires]. D&C 46:30 - "He that asketh in the Spirit asketh according to the will of God; wherefore it is done even as he asketh." May we so do!
