The Last Invitation
Six Weeks In — This Is the Final Week of Our Campaign, and We Truly Need You
And just like that, we have reached the final week of Meridian’s Voluntary Subscription Campaign.
Six weeks ago, we began with a prayer in our hearts and a familiar mix of hope and trembling:
Will our readers come again? Will they help us carry this work for another year?
And, as always, you did.
Hundreds have already stepped forward with generosity that leaves us humbled and grateful. Your names — many familiar, some brand new — feel like old friends appearing at our door. We wish we could thank each of you personally.
But here at the end of the campaign, with only a few days left, we must be honest:
We are still not yet where we need to be to fund Meridian for 2026.
We are not close.
But enough has come in to give us hope.
That is why this last message matters so much.
Please subscribe to Meridian now. Click here and thank you!
This Is the Week That Determines Everything
If you’ve ever wondered:
- When does Meridian secure its operational budget for the year?
- When does the future of the podcast get determined?
- When do we know if we can support more writers and expand our offerings?
- When do we know that Meridian will remain free for everyone?
The answer is: this week. This very week.
These final days are the difference between “just enough to survive” and “enough to flourish.”

Meridian Is a Daily Miracle — And a Daily Stewardship
For nearly 27 years, Meridian has entered your inbox not because of advertisers, not because of sponsors, not because of corporate money — but because a small group of faithful readers choose each year to sustain this work.
It is astonishing, really.
Every article you read…
Every photograph we publish…
Every gospel commentary…
Every news piece approached with clarity and light…
Every weekly Come, Follow Me podcast…
Every spiritual lift that finds you at just the right moment…
All of it is funded by a tiny circle of believers.
People like you.
Readers who care enough to say, “This matters. Keep going.”
Please join the other brave volunteers and subscribe today. Click here.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Your voluntary subscription of $40 for the year (or more!) — about 11 cents a day (or more)— provides the backbone for everything Meridian does:
- The global, high-security servers that keep Meridian running
- The editing, writing, photography, and research behind each issue
- The technical platforms that allow hundreds of thousands to read for free
- Our weekly scripture podcast that now blesses millions
- The creation of new content and resources for your spiritual life
- The small staff who rise early and work late to make it happen
It is easy to underestimate what your support accomplishes.
But without voluntary subscriptions, Meridian simply could not continue.

A Final Question for Your Heart
We ask you tenderly:
What would you lose if Meridian weren’t there tomorrow?
For many, the answer sounds like this:
“I would miss that spiritual lift in the morning.”
“I would miss your voices walking with me each week through the scriptures.”
“I would miss a place online that isn’t angry or cynical.”
“I would miss a community that understands my faith.”
“I would miss the steadiness.”
If Meridian blesses your life…
If it strengthens your discipleship…
If it lightens your load…
Then we gently ask:
Will you help ensure it remains here for you — and for others — in 2026?
This Is Our Last Invitation for This Year’s Campaign
We will not ask again after this week.
This is the end of the campaign.
If you’ve been intending to subscribe…
If you meant to do it but got busy…
If you’ve read Meridian for years but have never joined the circle that sustains it…
If you’ve been nudged by the Spirit even once during this campaign…
