“They don’t call Utah the Beehive State for nothing. Hard working people just like bees,” said one YouTube commenter after The Tonight Show shared a video of NPR’s Guy Raz explaining why “Mormons” make such good entrepreneurs.
But it’s more than hard work that Guy Raz, known for his popular NPR podcast How I Built This, was talking about.
“If you are an entrepreneur and you’ve got this idea, you might go to 1000 people and 900 of them will say…I’m not interested in investing…and you have to be able to hear “No” again and again and again.”
“Believe it or not, a lot of Mormons have developed this skill,” Guy told Jimmy. Watch Guy explain just what he means in the video below:

Good thing Guy Raz was listening carefully - he nailed it! Good for Jimmy Fallon for allowing him a friendly platform.
