As a young man, Steven Lloyd Neal, took Elder Boyd K. Packer’s challenge to create great art. He felt impressed by the Spirit to take on a mission that was daunting and he was unsure he had the skills to accomplish it. Yet, these decades later, he is about to see the 10-acre Monument of the America’s park come to life on a green slope in Heber Valley. It will contain great statues that celebrate the Book of Mormon and the covenant on this land.
